Grants-
Grants do not need to be repaid. Eligibility and amounts are determined by a student’s Expected Family Contribution, which is calculated from the FAFSA, and their enrollment status.
Loans-
Loans are a type of financial aid that must be repaid. They are awarded on the basis of need determined by the FAFSA application. They must be repaid once a student graduates, leaves college or drops below half time.
Subsidized Stafford Loan-
Interest is paid by the federal government while the student is in school.
Unsubsidized Stafford Loan-
Interest begins to accrue at the time of disbursement. Students may make interest payments while in school or defer the interest until graduation.
PLUS loan-
Available to parents of dependent students. Repayment begins 60 days after 2nd disbursement of the loan period.
Work Study-
The Work Study Program offers students opportunities for part time employment on campus. A work study award indicates that you are eligible for employment. Available job openings are posted. Apply in the financial aid office.
Veteran’s Benefits-
